Book Review: The Coming Economic Armageddon

, by Mystee

Summary from GoodReads: Never before have we read such jarring headlines, distressing news analyses, or dire predictions concerning the world's financial future. The American housing market - or, more sentimentally, the American dream - began to collapse in 2006, taking with it large chunks of the global financial system. Millions of jobs worldwide have vanished forever. Did Bible prophecy predict this catastrophe? Are there biblical clues to how soon, if ever, a viable, long-term recovery can be sustained? Is the financial collapse just one of several signs that we are living in the final days of Earth's history? In THE COMING ECONOMIC ARMAGEDDON, David Jeremiah says we can know the meaning behind what we see in the daily news - and understand and prepare for living in the New Global Economy.

My Review: I found, to me, that this book didn't do a lot of back history...just more of the current happenings, possibilities and so forth. But, that being said, I think most, when it comes to this topic, are more concerned with here and now and the future than in the past. So, I found this to be a most appropriate take on the matter.

It's really a bummer to see how this all happened and the notion that it was preventable. This book is based on his research and facts.

This book, though having merged with the Bible's plan for such economic Armageddon, is also a wealth of knowledge for any of us that want to be more in the know with our current economic struggles. There is plenty of information...you can pick and choose what you'd like to focus on.

  1. Great review! Though I don't think I want to hear more bad news on our economy. We're suffering from it enough and since there's no going back to change it, I don't think I'll be reading this one.
