Book Review: Thinking of You by Jill Mansell

Book Description

 May 7, 2013
Are you in the midst of one of those "exciting" phases of life, like the eerily quiet empty nest...or the new job with the distractingly attractive, off-limits boss...or a wacky new roommate who isn't at all as advertised? What about all of those at once...

Is your life full of surprises? No? Well, what if it could be?

You may begin to think you're living someone else's reality. And maybe, that's not a bad thing...

International bestselling author Jill Mansell spins a poignant and funny story of mothers, daughters, friends, and lovers...and what happens when everything takes a turn for the unexpected.

Review: I never really know how I'm going to feel about chic lit.  This is your classic story of single mom and daughter growing up and heading to college. Of course, mom feels left behind as her laugher is moving on in life. Daughter leaves, mom has Finn...will it all work out?
This book gives you a fix of romance, laugher, backstabbing and more.
For me, it took a few days for me to read {which, as my constant readers know, isn't the norm}. The characters are well brought out and you do feel like you know them well. You even find yourself thinking, at times, "Hey, I know someone just like you." However, for me, for some reason, the book just went slow.
I'd recommend this for those who love the chic lit genre.
