About the Book-
Gretchen Hawthorne's life changed after her parents died. Her and her loyal dog, Faith, picked up and moved from Scotland to North Carolina, USA. With the opportunity to begin life over at forty, Gretchen picked a beach front condo and decided to do what she'd always dreamed of doing - become an author. To fill the gap, she began editing books for first time authors.
Never did she guess, walking up her sidewalk from a grocery trip with Faith, they would discover a dead body propped against a tree. Calling the police, Detective Kane Jenkins quickly dismisses Gretchen and her hyper furry sidekick as a nuisance.
Soon, Gretchen and Faith are tail deep in the case after providing Detective Jenkins with a clue that enables him to bring down a ring of organ traffickers.
