 Developmental Editing — $0.04 per word

Focus: story structure, pacing, and character arcs.
This is the “big picture” edit that turns a good book into a great one.
Includes:

• Chapter-by-chapter feedback
• Story, pacing, and theme analysis
• Character motivation and believability notes
• A full summary report of strengths and areas to develop

 All edits are delivered in Microsoft Word (.docx) with
 Track Changes + side comments,
plus both a clean and annotated version.

 Beta Reading

• $150 per 100,000 words
• Adjusted proportionally:
  • 10K words → $15
  • 25K words → $37.50
  • 50K words → $75
  • 75K words → $112.50
  • 100K words → $150
  • 150K words → $225
  • 200K words → $300

Includes:

• Full read-through
• Constructive feedback on plot flow, character consistency, pacing, reader engagement, and emotional impact

 Proofreading

• $0.02 per word (2 cents per word)

Includes:

• Grammar, punctuation, and spelling
• Light syntax and clarity fixes
• Notes on tone and readability
