Today’s Best of Twitter post is #MomFails
We all do them and it’s gotten a bit more acceptable to share our not so perfect moments (thank goodness – for real). I look at a lot of these and feel like I’m so happy I’m not the only one. Here are a few of the ones I found. What’s your most recent #MomFail?
--So my kid woke up yesterday with a new mole/freckle on his forehead and I thought "awwww, cute!" until I realized it was a fleck of chocolate from the protein bar I ate while feeding him in the dark during the night. #momfail (Mom’s have to eat too)
-- I bought Lily a set of toy golf clubs today.... didn’t think about the possibility of them being potential weapons. 😅🙈 #momfail (Psssst – everything is a weapon)
-- Sometimes things that seem cool to a parent might not be too cool for the kids. Took my kids to rainforest cafe only to have scared them for life due to a robot gorilla #momfail #lessonlearned 😬😳 (I thought riding the elephant with my 3-year-old would be fun, evidently I’m the only one that thought so – IF he would have stopped screaming long enough for me to at least enjoy it. Someone should have had fun. Just saying)
-- Told my two year old he was “one smart cookie”. Then he started crying for a cookie 🤦🏻♀️ Choose your words wisely. #momfail
-- When your kid downs half the dogs water from the bowl before you realize 🤢 #momfail (Wait till they start eating the dog food and testing out the dog treats – because why does the dog only get those special kinds of treats?)
-- Made sopapillas & Zeke bites into one: "Mmm, Mom, this one has cheese!" Me: "No, it doesn't?" #uncooked #momfail 😳😷
-- Definitely forgot about career day at school today #momfail oh but wait... I’m teaching them responsibility... if they want to participate they’ll have to remember things for themselves #lifeskills #nevermindtheyare5&4
