Claire knew that the secrets of the old asylum would not remain hidden for long.
The following day, Claire and Ryan decided to revisit the abandoned asylum, determined to delve deeper into its dark past. As they approached the imposing building, the air seemed to thicken with a sense of foreboding, as if the very walls held secrets waiting to be uncovered.
“Do you think Oliver will speak to us?” Claire asked as they walked toward the door.
“I am not sure. He doesn’t have to. This isn’t an official investigation.” Ryan replied calmly, trying not to set off his wife and her need for mystery and hidden agendas where there likely were none.
