A Moment With Mystee

Gretchen had always lived a quiet life and had always owned a dog or two. Now in her 40s she was faced with what to do next at her age. She realized she had bowed to the exigencies of bosses for way too many years. Now she can spend as much time with Faith as she can and work at her own pace doing something she absolutely loves. Not only does she get to watch the fickle ocean moods from her condo, but she also gets to watch the sandy beach bathing in the sun or soaking in the pouring rain. She can sit on her patio and watch the people going about their own lives enjoying the water and the weather. 

I took myself down the hall and through the living room where many a yearly Christmas tree had stood. Presents. Stocking. The family dog. Memories. We'd spent so many days there decorating and enjoying the family times surrounded by aunts and uncles, cousins and grandparents, and friends that we had chosen and taken in his family.
