Book Review: Revenge Served Cold

Summary from GoodReads:
Kathy Spence awakens in the middle of the night and finds herself in a living nightmare. Her husband has been run down and she is the primary suspect. With an eyewitness to the crime and proof that her car was the murder weapon, it appears to be an open and shut case. Terrified for her future, Kathy turns to amateur sleuth Anne Marshall for help. Believing in Kathy s innocence, Anne launches her own investigation, uncovering proof of a conspiracy that reaches from Kathy s past and threatens her own life. In a race against time, Anne must count on her close friends and even the ghost of her father to help her bring a killer to justice before it s too late

My Review: Kathy Spence is our main character and primary suspect to her husband's death. Kathy's friend Anne has the ability to see dead people and Kathy is hoping to bring some light to the death.

In this book, you're kept reading by being given little amounts of information at a time. I did have to think on a few of the characters that were playing smaller roles within the book. Also, Kathy has little issues {and not so little issues} that come out as the book progresses as well.

Revenge served cold is loaded with action, emotion and suspense. However, for me, I was quick to rule out those who I knew didn't do it. It quickly came down to two choices for me. I was also really hoping for more background on those who really were a part of the team that were to solve this crime -- still a good suspense read with characters that are not found in your every day read.

  1. This is another one I tried to read but couldn't because it's about ghosts, and I'm a big ninny and can't read about ghosts....I'm glad you enjoyed it though!

  2. I';m not sure if this is my kind of book either. I love the way you are talented enough to read pretty much any genre. I'm trying to get there.
