Book Review: Dragons In Pieces by Lee French ( #SciFi )

Book Description

 November 10, 2013
All Bobby wanted was a girl to come home to after a hard day of work. Like the last one said before she left, he was going exactly two places - no and where – and he was happy with that. But somebody had other plans for him. A murder. The Terrorist Watch List. For what? Underage drinking? Things couldn't possibly get worse. Right?

Oh yes, they could.

A lot.

He wouldn't believe superheroes were real if he wasn't one himself.

Tiny robot dragons send him chasing his humanity and his future, on the trail to discovering his past and a place to call 'home'. If he's lucky, maybe he can get a beer there.

Review: From the title, I really didn't know what to expect from the book. However, I was in for a fairly pleasant read. My biggest issue was some of the dialogue. The author uses a lot of long sentences and commas. Some parts moved really slow for me.
Character and imagination was good in this book. It took me into a place where things were, at time, unthinkable. Putting young adults in prison and torturing them? It was a vile place for Bobby to overcome.
However, the ending was pulled off well and left me content.

++I received this book free of charge in exchange for an honest review. This, in no way, changed the outcome of my review++
