Book Review: Best Genre Short Stories Anthology #1

Summary from GoodReads: 24 of the Best Literary Genre short stories selected from Crime, Fantasy, Horror, Mystery and Science Fiction. The offbeat premises, intriguing ideas and excitement of Genre Fiction are mixed with the depth and characters of Literary Fiction. The category of Literary Fiction is growing quickly because it has characteristics that appeal to any reader. The stories in this anthology are not categorized by genre, so you don't know what to expect until you are engrossed in each story. If you're used to reading only one genre, you may be surprised that you like other, or overlapping, genres when you are exposed to quality examples.

My Review: This book has something from every genre you can think of. Were they all, in my opinion the very best, mostly. But that's all in interpretation. Some of us prefer certain genres over others. And still others of us prefer a certain aspect within a genre.

However, this book was well put together and well researched. Many of the stories were absolutely wonderful. The best part of this book? With 24 stories and different genre, this is perfect reading for any mood you may be in. It's covered in the book. A welcomed addition to any reader's shelves.
