After losing her mother and leaving behind her life in
Scotland, Gretchen, a reclusive woman in her 40s, moves to the coastal town of
Beaufort, North Carolina. Seeking solace and a fresh start, she finds a quaint
condo with a stunning view of the ocean. With her loyal pitbull, Faith, by her
side, Gretchen decides to pursue her dream of becoming an author, supplementing
