Why is Audrey James fearful? Why now? Is it because she is getting a divorce? Moving to a run-down house? Possibly succumbing to the stress of her job at the Santa Monica DA’s office? Or is it just something she ate?

Her voyage of self-discovery coincides with her wade through the lies and half-truths woven for self-protection or in self-interest by her friends and acquaintances. When she begins to see that guilt and innocence are as fluid as the riptides, she must finally make a conscious decision to trust. That decision allows her to be at peace with the result of both the mystery and her question of her own mental competence.

Review: Jeanne Davis has pulled off a brilliant book in Sheetrock Angel. There are twists and turns and this and that and even more other. You find yourself captured and turning page after page. How will all these ends wrap up? Will everything be settled?
Most times when I read such a book as this, I'm left with
something not having closure. Something the author started but didn't wrap up
by the end of the book. This did not happen with this book. I was very
pleasantly surprised. Even though Ms. Davis creates a constant movement to keep
readers interested, it's not at all confusing or difficult to follow.
Great character development also helps this book achieve a
top rating. This is a must read for any mystery novel fan. Also, a definite
great first start for those not too sure on the genre.
